Cordless mouse moves erratically due to dirty mouse.
Cause:
Dirty mouse is causing erratic movement.
Solution:
Turn off mouse, remove and clean mouse ball and rollers, replace mouse ball, and turn on mouse.
1) If the mouse has a power switch, turn the mouse off.
2) Remove the mouse ball by rotating the retaining ring on the bottom of the mouse in the direction indicated by the arrows on the retaining ring.
3) Use a mouse cleaning kit, clean the mouse ball, and rollers.
4) Replace the mouse ball and retaining ring, twisting the ring in the opposite direction indicated by the arrows on the retaining ring.
5) If the mouse power switch was turned off, turn the mouse on.
6) Make sure the mouse pad is clean.
